REAL-TIME DIRECT-TO-GLASS MASTERING Every CD replication project we manufacture includes in-house, real-time (1x), direct-to-glass mastering (also known as "single speed glass cutting" ) at no extra charge. Most CD replication companies cannot offer this service, and the few that do must outsource the glass cutting and charge from $200 to $1200 extra. The standard procedure for other CD replication companies is to transfer your master to a server, or DDP/Exabyte tape, and then transfer it again to a glass master at 2x, 4x, or even faster! Based on extensive testing, we have found that such practices can cause a degradation in audio quality.
